Two impressions op. 3 for flute and guitar belong to the author’s earlier compositions. They differ in character: the first is atmospheric and the second is danceable and humorous.
In the first movement entitled “The Story of Friendship” the melody is based on calm musical phrases, but at the same time in harmony we can hear the constant changeability of moods.
The second part, “The Dance of Joy and Fun” has a more humorous and playful character. Musical thoughts are shorter, emphasized by different types of articulation. Again there are contradictions: staccato and legato. There are irregular accents. Here, too, we will hear the changeability of moods.
